About Stefanie

Stefanie comes from a beauty and aesthetics background, being trained in all things brows. From waxing and tinting to henna and lamination, she has been taming, restructuring and enhancing brows for years before training in permanent make up. This has given her an eye for creating bespoke brows tailored to each individual client’s facial features and why she has become a popular choice for cosmetic tattooing in Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

As well as all things brows Stefanie has been working on the face and skin for years. She is also trained in micro-needling / collagen induction therapy, dermaplaning and chemical peels.

She then went on to train in permanent cosmetics at Softline training academy in 2019 and has been working full time as a PMU artist ever since.

With the belief that you never stop learning in this industry, she is constantly training in new techniques to enhance her skills and ensure she is offering her clients the best experience and results possible from their cosmetic tattooing procedures.

What is permanent make up? 

PMU? 

Permanent make up is known by many names; 

Permanent make up, permanent cosmetics, cosmetic tattooing, tattoo brows, micropigmentation, microblading, dermapigmentation, PMU, SPMU, semi permanent make up… to name a few! However they all refer to the same thing – pigment being permanently deposited in the skin using a needle. 

Permanent cosmetics may seem like a fairly new concept but in fact it has been around for thousands of years. Many of our ancient cultures from the Incas, the Mayans and the Greeks to the Egyptians (and in fact Cleopatra herself) have used primitive methods of depositing pigment under the skin to aesthetically enhance their facial features. Fast forward a few thousand years and we now have one of the fastest growing and ever progressing sectors of the beauty industry.
